Wat Pah Ampawan

This spacious and beautiful monastery is the residence of Venerable Ajahn Jundee Kantasāro who was ordained by Venerable Ajahn Chah in 1975. Venerable Ajahn Jundee has spent two years in Australia in the eighties, and ever since has generously supported the forestsangha monasteries outside Thailand with frequent visits and teachings. Wat Pah Ampawan is situated to the east of Bangkok in the district of Chonburi. It hosts between 40 and 60 monks.
Wat Pah Ampawan is the 42nd Branch Monastery of Wat Pah Pong in Thailand.
